The Junction at Logansport
The Junction at Logansport is a regional retail center under redevelopment on the east end of Logansport, offering anchor, outlet and small shop opportunities between 1,500 and 55,000 square feet.
Existing tenants include Dunham’s Sports, Dollar Tree, and Planet Fitness.
Planet Fitness was fully redeveloped and had a grand opening ceremony in July of 2021. Dunham’s Sports remained open throughout construction of the store’s new facade.
Harbor Freight Tools opened a new 15,000 square foot location at The Junction in 2023.
Sulai Hospitality opened its Home2 Suites by Hilton on the former J.C. Penney site at the end of 2022. The extended stay hotel includes studio and one-bedroom suites complete with a kitchen and workspace. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and hot breakfast.
The Junction reported in July 2022 that two national brands have also signed a letter of intent to occupy the out-lot on Market Street at The Junction. The Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce announced during the State of the City and County luncheon in January 2023 that the brands are Jimmy Johns and Dunkin’ Donuts. Construction began in late April 2024.
Additional work in 2023/2024 included the mall façade, asphalt parking lot, and a new pylon sign.
In July 2024, agreements with three new tenants were announced: Marshalls, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Five Below.
The Junction is being developed by Park Development, LLC, owner of 3900 E Market Street LLC, a Chicago-based real-estate developer. Design plans for the open-air retail center call for approximately 160,000 square feet of retail space.
