RED Program concludes initial surveys, developing further plans for pilot beautification neighborhood.
The Rural Empowerment & Development (RED) Program concluded community surveys asking about neighborhood concerns to identify opportunities for improvement across Logansport.
The 10- question community feedback survey concluded on March 23rd. The survey, available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, ran for two weeks and asked questions to help identify neighborhood concerns, asking participants to indicate which neighborhood they live or work in. After reviewing the data, the Neighborhood Beautification team concluded that the neighborhood with the highest survey participation was Neighborhood 2. Residents of Neighborhood 2 will be invited to a meeting to continue to develop an action plan to address neighborhood concerns. “We are grateful for the participation in the survey and thank everyone who took the time to provide their feedback as it helps us guide our next steps for improvements in our community,” said a representative of the RED program. “We hope for Neighborhood 2 to be the start of a city wide effort to identify and address neighborhood concerns.”
The Neighborhood 2 call out will be held on June 17th. Additional details to follow.
