Programs and Incentives
Several programs and incentives are available in the City of Logansport.
Logan’s Landing Commercial Facade Improvement Grant
Applications for the Commercial Facade Improvement Funding Program are available to commercial business or property owners within the Logan’s Landing district.
The program offers 50% matching funding of up to $5,000 per property for eligible improvements, which include exterior painting, exterior lighting, windows and doors, façade maintenance/restoration, awnings, and installation of a new brick façade. These are funds that have been set aside to help downtown business owners make a visible impact on our community, by improving the appearance of their buildings.
For an application or further information about the program, please contact Logan’s Landing at 574-722-9345 or email lldirector@loganslanding.com.
Logansport Redevelopment Commission Commercial Use Sidewalk/Curbing Program
Commercial properties within a TIF district can apply to receive a 50% match up to $5,000 from the Logansport Redevelopment Commission for sidewalks/curbs/guttering. Contact the Cass Logansport Economic Development Organization (CLEDO) for more information.
Residential 50/50 Sidewalk and Curbing Program
In an effort to help beautify our city, the City of Logansport provides a set amount of funding each year (as funding is available) to assist property owners in replacing sidewalks and curbing. Property owners may complete an application for sidewalk and/or curb replacement and submit the application to the Street Department. The city’s contracted concrete company will provide an estimated cost for replacement and the city will pay half of the cost upon completion of the job. Applications are on a first-come/first-served basis as long as funds are available. Property owners may use the online application or pick up an application at the Street Department.
City of Logansport Student Internship Reimbursement Program
City of Logansport Officials and Cass Logansport Economic Development Organization (CLEDO) believe that students who work under an internship arrangement will enhance their education, their professional experience, and their interest in local industries. Therefore, reimbursements are offered to promote internships for undergraduate students majoring in academic disciplines applicable to the local industries within Logansport (i.e., construction management, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, health care, etc.) Find more info here.
