Explore Downtown Logansport

Logansport, Indiana’s downtown district extends from the confluence of the Eel and Wabash Rivers, east to 8th Street.

Just as the two rivers that run through Logansport meet downtown, so do its residents and visitors. Once a destination along the Wabash and Erie Canal, then a busy railroad hub, Logansport is easily accessed today via Indiana State Roads 17, 24, 25, 29 (also known as the Michigan Road Historic Byway) and US 35.

You’ll find a lively mix of local businesses and organizations that reflect the diversity and energy of our community in downtown Logansport. In the summer, streets bloom with vibrant pink petunias. In the winter, holiday lights bring warmth and cheer to nearly every block. Downtown is also home to Logansport’s DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area), which allows patrons to enjoy beverages from participating establishments while strolling within the marked district.

Logan’s Landing, a nationally-accredited Indiana Main Street organization, is dedicated to making Cass County’s downtown between-the-rivers district a viable place to operate a business, a rewarding place to live, and a fun place to visit, and organizes several of the annual events that take place in downtown Logansport.
