The Logansport Farmers’ Market, at Fourth and Market Streets in downtown Logansport, is expanding its hours. The Market will now be open on Wednesdays from 3 to 5:30 p.m., as well as from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Wednesday schedule will continue through September, and the Saturday hours will still be in effect through the end of October 2023.
A variety of locally-produced items are currently for sale including: lettuce, rhubarb, beets, radishes, onions, squash and squash blossoms, homemade jams, salsa, & pickles, herbs, black raspberries, eggs, chicken, beef, hand-woven rag rugs, baby quilts, wall art, custom wood signs, dog treats, jewelry, and mead. More garden produce is being added each week. Look for your green beans, tomatoes, and sweet corn soon. Sweet treats include cinnamon rolls, cookies, cobblers, breads, pies, scones, and more.
