Logansport Farmers Market holding vendor callout meeting on March 13, 2023

The Logansport Farmers Market will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, March 13, at the Cass County Fairgrounds Community Building. This is an opportunity to learn vendor guidelines and ask questions pertaining to the upcoming season.

New vendors are welcome to attend. People from the following counties are eligible to participate as vendors: Cass, Howard, Miami, Fulton, White, Carroll and Pulaski.

The Farmers’ Market, located in downtown Logansport, will be open from June through October. Opening day will be Saturday, June 3. The market will continue to be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October. Wednesdays will be added beginning July 5 and continue through the last week of September. Wednesday hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m.

In recent years the range of products from the Farmers Market has included fresh vegetables, fruits, berries, plants, herbs, meats (lamb, beef, chicken, buffalo), eggs, honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies, honey wine (mead), coffee and other beverages, custom wood signs, baked goods, noodles, candy, homemade soaps and candles, knitted or crocheted projects, hand-woven rag rugs, quilts, hand-crafted sun catchers, and other unique hand-made crafts. Questions concerning eligible items to sell can be addressed at the informational meeting.
