
March 2026 programming brings community, creativity, and movement to Logansport Parks
Logansport, IN — Logansport Parks & Recreation is inviting the community to step outside and connect this March with Pop Up in the Parks, a month-long series of programs designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and togetherness across Logansport’s parks and facilities.
March programming includes a mix of outdoor adventures, family activities, wellness programs, and community conversations—offering something for all ages and interests.
Featured March events include:
● Community Coffee Talk Monday, March 4 | 9 a.m. Penman Building | Community Coffee Talk is a monthly gathering for residents to meet, share ideas, and enjoy conversation over coffee. The informal setting encourages connection and open discussion about community life.
● Morning Moon Watch Tuesday, March 3 | 5:45 a.m. – 7 a.m. Huston Park | A total lunar eclipse will be visible just before sunrise. We’ll gather quietly in the southeast field of Huston Park to watch the Moon turn a deep copper red before it sets, with our amazing friends at Black Dog Coffee.
● Senior Zumba Tuesdays | 10 a.m. McHale Complex, Riverside Park | Senior Zumba is a low-impact fitness class designed to support mobility, balance, and overall wellness in a fun, inclusive group setting.
● Parks & Plants: Grow Together Workshop Series February–May McHale Complex, Riverside Park This hands-on gardening workshop series helps families learn how to plant, grow, and care for gardens together. Each session includes seasonal lessons, planting activities and so much more.
● Cryptid Club Monday, March 25 | 10 a.m. –12 p.m. Dykeman Park | Cryptid Club invites curious minds to explore folklore, legends, and mysterious creatures through hands-on activities, crafts, and guided exploration. Designed for families and young adventurers, this program blends imagination, storytelling, and outdoor discovery.
● Park After Dark Friday, March 27 | 6–8 p.m. McHale Complex, Riverside Park | Park After Dark is a free, family-friendly evening event featuring indoor games, crafts, carousel rides, and community activities. The evening offers a relaxed way to enjoy the park after hours and connect with neighbors in a welcoming environment.
