Neighborhood beautification workshop scheduled for June 17, 2026 on Logansport’s west side

Residents and businesses from the northwest side of Logansport are invited to attend a workshop on June 17, 2026.

The workshop is being put on by the Neighborhood Beautification team that developed through Cass County’s participation in the Rural Empowerment and Development Program.

The team conducted a survey in March, inviting all Logansport residents to share about their neighborhoods. The neighborhood with the highest participation (Neighborhood 2) is invited to take part in the City’s Pilot Neighborhood Beautification Program, which will help empower advocates within the neighborhood as well as help develop and create neighborhood beautification goals and steps for your neighborhood. All residents and businesses in Neighborhood 2 are encouraged to attend, regardless of whether or not they completed the survey.

To help implement some of these goals the City Council of Logansport has allocated a small amount of funds for the pilot community.

Neighborhood 2 is bordered by Eberts Road to the North, 3rd Street to the east, Front Street and Wabash Avenue to the south, and Western Avenue to the west.

The workshop will be held at the LCSC Academy (410 W. Miami Ave), in Logansport, on June 17 from 5-6:30 p.m. Please come be part of the conversation in your neighborhood!
