The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department and Security Federal Savings Bank will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Security Federal Savings Bank Community Pavilion at Fairview Park. It will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:30 at Fairview Park. The public is welcome to attend this special event.
This project was paid for by the City of Logansport, the Logansport Community School Corporation, and Security Federal Savings Bank.
During the spring semester, the Century Career Center students of the Building Trades classes, constructed the ICON (brand name) structure. These classes were led by Kye Long, the Building Trades teacher. They began their work after spring break, and finished just prior to the end of the school year.
This ribbon cutting ceremony is an opportunity to recognize and thank all those people and organizations for making this special picnic shelter possible.
