Race Street water main upgrade to impact traffic and parking starting May 21, 2025
Logansport area drivers and residents will need to be aware of upcoming digging, pipe installation, and street repairs occurring in the coming weeks due to the ongoing water main replacement projects.
Starting Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Logansport Utilities’ contractor F&K Construction will begin replacing the water main on Race Street between 6th and 8th Streets. There will be large, heavy equipment on site as their crews cut and dig trenches, replace the water main, as well as replace residential water service lines for several weeks.
Community members need to note any posted “no parking” signs. Towing of vehicles may be kindly enforced due to safety concerns and logistics. Drivers should seek alternative routes due to potential traffic delays with lane or road closures.
The water main and service line replacement projects coincide with Logansport Utilities’ ongoing commitment to delivering safe, reliable water to the entire community.
