2025
- New businesses & business expansions
- Race Street water main upgrade completed December 2025
- Logansport Utilities Automated (Advanced) Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project completed in December 2025
- Reconstruction of Mall Road completed in November 2025
- Soil cleanup near former Exide battery facility completed in October 2025
- Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Logansport Police Department implement new record management system, Caliber Public Safety
- Phases 1 & 2 of Logansport Utilities 69 KV Transmission pole replacement completed
- 34 projects completed by 520 volunteers as part of United Way of Cass County’s annual Live United Day in September 2025
- Logansport Redevelopment Commission purchased former Boondockers and SUS properties near the confluence in August 2025
- Habitat for Humanity of Cass County completed their first Logansport Community Build at 809 19th St in August 2025 with the City of Logansport as the lead sponsor, and started a monthly “Good Neighbor Club” that provides residents with opportunities to learn about a variety of topics.
- Construction of Joint Fire Training Center began in Summer 2025
- Civil engineering students from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology selected two Logansport projects and developed site layouts for the Chase and Davis and “On the Banks” areas
- New corporate hangar constructed at Logansport/Cass County Airport in Summer 2025
- Logansport Parks’ Penman Service Center reroofed and parking lot resealed and restriped
- Huston Park trails and parking lot resealed and restriped
- Repaving of roads and parking areas in Spencer Park
- Replacement of Spencer Park Playground
- New water line installed in Spencer Park
- New storage barn constructed in Spencer Park for Christmas in the Park displays and other equipment
- Fairview Park restrooms remodeled
- Logansport Junior High School renovations including cafeteria expansion, renovated bathrooms in science wing, air conditioning in Lincoln Memorial Gymnasium, relocation of weight room, expanded CTE instructional areas and creation of a guidance office suite
- ADA assessment of 15 Logansport parks and their facilities completed
- Heritage Simulator Room opened at Dykeman Park Golf Course in September 2025
- Iron Horse Park Splash Pad and Game Courts open (July 2025)
- Inaugural “Chalk the Block” Arts Festival held by Logan’s Landing on July 26, 2025
- West sidewalk along 6th Street, from East Broadway to the alley between 6th and 7th Streets was redone, and parking lots on the south and east sides of the City Building were repaved in July 2025.
- Logansport Memorial Hospital became Parkview Logansport Hospital – July 2025
- South Side Watermain Installation (Clinton St) in May 2025
- Logansport Redevelopment Commission purchased vacant lots in 200 block of East Broadway in April 2025
- New Dykeman Park Clubhouse opened May 2025

2024
- Cass County selected for Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs’ Rural Empowerment and Development (RED) program (December 2024)
- Successful installation by Logansport Utilities of more than 6,500 electric department Automated (Advanced) Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters by Dec 2024. Project will continue. More than 3000 water department AMI meters installed and programmed, with an average of 150 added each day by December 2024.
- Installation of 25 of the 45 steel poles for first phase of Logansport Utilities steel pole project (December 2024)
- Fiberglass Freaks’ Batman Museum opened in October 2024

2022
- INDOT bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance project on State Road 25 (Burlington Avenue) between Cliff Drive and Gates Street (south of Biddle’s Island). Work was completed in November 2022.
- Paving of 1.8 miles of the 4.7 total miles of streets in Mount Hope Cemetery. Streets which received work incude Doris, Muehlhausen, Eberts, Fiedler, Gutherie, Pleasant Hill 1 and 2, Cyprus, Neuman, For Get Met Not, Saint Bridget, Aichinger, Rose and Smith Streets, and Logan Way.
- Paving of Chase Road
- US 35 & Hoosier Heartland Lighting – The Logansport Street Department and Logansport Utilities worked improve lighting and road visibility at one of the city’s gateway entrances in 2022.
- Main Street Revitalization Program – A project to restore the façades of several buildings in the two designated historic districts within downtown Logansport.
- New murals by Logansport High School art students at American Legion and VFW
- Riverside Park Improvements
